NaijaGear was founded in the year 2000, and launched in 2002, we design, produce, market and distribute good quality casual wear sport apparel, specifically for young and young at heart Nigerians. The NaijaGear brand celebrates creativity, resiliency, and entrepreneurship, these are the essential qualities that Young Nigeria needs to grow and thrive! Our love for Nigeria gave birth to NaijaGear, hence, we will continue to do our best to show the world who we are as a people, without apology.

FROM LAGOS WITH LOVE …

Being a Lagos Island born and raised Nigerian, I’m thrilled that we have a can do Governor who is politically astute, but not your conventional politician. He didn’t discard the blue print that was drawn up by his predecessor because he was part of the behind the scenes crew that dreamt of a New Lagos, he didn’t waste time talking, rather, he assembled people of like minds and got to work. We are witnessing the results of hard work, focus, will to do, and strength of character. This is only the beginning of the re-birth of Lagos. Ever since Lagos was replaced by Abuja as the federal capital, Lagos has struggled and suffered all kinds of indignities in the hands of people who couldn’t care less whether Lagos lives, dies or falls into the lagoon. Lagos is the only state in the federation where people of diverse ethnic background co-exist without the usual ethno-religious live wire tension that prevails in other parts of Nigeria. It matters not where you are from, Lagos welcomes you in her own unique way. We celebrate Lagos, we cheer our dynamic Governor and his dedicated Team, keep up the pace, kaka ko re e, wa mure rodo. Those who called Lagos a “jungle” a few years ago should come back and take a look, if their conscience would let them. Lagos was treated, wrongly, as a political trophy. It’s not.

It’s our home. We designed From Lagos With Love to show and tell the World that Lagos despite our daunting challenges, is still the place to be in Nigeria. If Lagos succeeds, Nigeria will.
